BOOK REVIEW

Sweet Valley Twins Graphic Novels #1: Best Friends is such a nostalgic book following my favourite fictional identical twins, Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield. This graphic novel brought me so many memories of my younger days as I used to read and reread this favourite series of mine.

I’m so happy that this series that I am so fond of is now adapted to a graphic novel. The storyline is the same though it was still so much fun reading it in graphic novel form. I absolutely love the colouring and illustrations of the book, it’s too pretty and I just know I would pick it up over and over again to reread. With all the familiar characters and setting, it felt like a friend comforting me during all the times I used to read and escape reality.

This was overall so much fun and a book I would always cherish. I absolutely cannot wait to read the rest of the book in the series. If you’re a fan or not a fan, I welcome you to the Sweet Valley world and I hope you would enjoy it as much as I do.
