Feyre survived Amarantha’s clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can’t forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin’s people.
Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two.
This book was literally everything and more than I could ever wish for in the sequel of A Court Of Thorns And Roses. Sarah J. Maas has really outdone herself and certainly wowed everyone who has read the book.
At the beginning, I was rooting for Tamlin but that changed soon enough when he started locking Feyre up and showing off his cold and heartless self. Don’t get me wrong, he has always been this way but it showed more of this cruel side of him that made me dislike him even more.
I do not regret with my decision of disliking Tamlin becase of the hot Ilyrian-warrior and High Lord of the Night Court. And that hot peice of a man is Rhysand. Gosh, he is so darn sweet and compassionate and caring and so many more beautiful things. He puts up a faćade to protect his friends and his people in the stunning and dream-like city of Velaris. And all of his sacrifices and his exquisite dark self is truly respectable. He is simply misunderstood by almost everyone but he doesn’t care about it because he only cares about the people that actually means to him. I love him so much!
Feyre is going to be so badass in the third book. I can just see it coming. She was already badass in ACOMAF so it’s not really that surprising. She is such a strong individual who does not like to be ordered around. No one likes to be ordered around.
Mates. That word has never got to me as much as this story has. King of Hybern, screw you!!! That bond can never be broken. Never!
My heart hurts so much in the latter part of the book to the point that I might not be able to function well. I seriously can’t stop thinking about this amazing book. I don’t think I’ll be able to. There are so many emotions and feelings that arises both good and bad but most of all, I cried and sobbed so hard for the events that happens throughout reading this phenomenonal book!
This book was unputdownable! And I know that everyone will agree with me that this book is astonishing from the front cover to the back cover.
Now, the waiting game awaits and I am so, extremely anxious and excited to read the last and final book in this series.
